A day Out March 31, 2012 With the mad, mad happenings with petrol in the United Kingdom how about you jump on the train this Sunday and go to: Shildon - The national railway museum is only a 5 minute walk from the platform North Road - The Head of Steam Museum is only minutes from the platform Darlington - South Park with it's lake and animals is 15 minutes walk Redcar - The lovely beach is located 10 minutes from the station Saltburn - A great family day out.
